Arnaud Paquier's first collection, 1_Rocks, offers an inventory of colourful mountain landscapes captured during his travels.
Layer by layer, he paints, marks, and scratches the canvas – hiding a unique story in each painting.
The display script typeface used in the visual identity refers to the spontaneous and free gestures of the painter. It is paired with a geometric sans serif typeface inspired by the aesthetics of robotics and machines. This confrontation creates a visual dialogue, both vibrant and elegant.
The concept of movement is enhanced by the website’s architecture. Parallax effects reveal the painted landscapes like a moving scenery. The artworks can also be discovered in a virtual 3D space that presents the artist's paintings in a new light.
